Eckold Shrinker/ Stretcher Tooling vs. Power Hammers & Reciprocating Machines
Eckold Shrinker/ Stretcher machines are not power hammers or reciprocating machines, what makes Eckold different and unique is their tooling. Eckold tooling mechanically shrinks and stretches material by grasping the metal between 2 sets of toothed jaws and move it inward or outward, while power hammers & reciprocating machines use hammer dies & dollies. Shrinking & stretching material is much easier and finished pieces are much smoother with Eckold’s unique tooling design.
