A Wide Variety of Hoops Available
The detachable head can be used with or without one of the wide variety of hoops available. All of TMG’s hoops are manufactured using only 1020 cold rolled DOM steel tubing and engineered with clearances needed to reach into nearly any application. The combination of Planishing Hammer mounted to a hoop is more efficient than hammer and dolly, saving you time and money.
Signature Series Dies
The Signature Series Dies are the most expansive set on the market which insures you’ll always have just the right die for any job. Shape, straighten, smooth, blend & hammer weld all with just one machine! One of the most important keys to getting maximum efficiency out of your die set is learning to work between different radii. The specific radii on all dies are based on industries standards. Only the most common radii are selected for the Complete Series. The selected radii and specs on TMG’s dies have been developed and refined throughout the years in their own metal shaping / fabrication shop.
Easy To Use Operation
The foot controls have a three-way valve that lets excess air-pressure out of the line when letting off the pedal. Instead of the hammer coming to a slow stop while still hammering, it stops immediately by blowing the excess pressure out the muffler located on the side. It produces just the right amount of variable air control for feathering in and out of sensitive touch-up areas. The combination of the foot control and variable flow ball valve allows you to set your air pressure & go with hands free start-ups!
Optional Wall Storage System
The optional Wall Storage System is a fully powder-coated, 14 gauge, two-piece system that mounts on 16” centers for easy wall mounting to standard wall studs. This system allows for easily accessible storage of the TMG-183 when not in use, holds up to 5 steel Hoops, and keeps your Signature Die Sets safely stored when not in use. The two die trays are removable to bring to your work area when doing handheld work. There is also a spot for your Radius Gauges for panel and die verification. A holder for the 2 Allen wrench’s that remove the Head from the Hoop as well as adjust the Die Index Clamp. The Storage System also utilizes a side tray to hold all of your accessories when not in use making it fast and easy to locate when you need them most!
